Universidad de Salamanca, Spain
University of Salamanca will hold the 'Strong2020 HaSP School' from September 5th to September 14th 2023 organized within the European Program STRONG 2020. The aim of the school is to provide an overview of the present status and progress in hadron structure and dynamics, as well as a preview of the forthcoming investigations.
It will cover lectures on both experimental and theoretical aspects, including in particular the presentation of new results.
The main topics of the school are:
- Effective Field Theories of QCD
- Analysis tools for hadron physics
- Hadron physics experiments
The lectures will be delivered from Tuesday 5th to Friday the 8th and from Monday the 11th to Thursday the 14th. There will a total of 36 hours of lectures plus 12 of Q&A..
The school is aimed for PhD students, but master students and young post-docs interested in hadron physics are also encouraged to participate.
There is no registration fee. Financial support covering part of the local expenses could be provided upon request. The school will be held at Hospederia Fonseca and we have rooms available at Colegio Fonseca (https://colegiofonseca.usal.es/) in single and double occupancy. The School will overlap with a big event ('Startup ole') organized also by University of Salamanca so lodging should be arranged early. We will have the rooms in Fonseca available until June 15th, so those interested should arrange a reservation as soon as possible. After that it might be difficult to find rooms.
Since we have a limited number of rooms and a limited budget it will be assigned on a first come, first served basis. The deadline to apply for financial support and lodging is June 15th 2023. Registration is now open https://indico.ific.uv.es/event/6803/.
