The next quarterly EIC User Group Meeting has been scheduled for October 28th at 10:00 a.m. (EDT) and will have three major parts:

  1. A business meeting with updates on the next annual meeting, the new theoretical physics working group, and proposed charter changes.
  2. Short status reports from the detector collaboration proposals.
  3. News from the EIC project and the labs, including a discussion on the second interaction region based on the memo on "Maximizing the Scientific Output of the EIC” (http://www.eicug.org/web/sites/default/files/Arguments%20for%20Two%20EIC%20Experiments%20Sep23.pdf).
