ABSTRACT

The High Brightness Beam Test Facility (HB2TF) is a 350 kV electron source based on laser-triggered photocathodes. Its goal is to generate a 5 mA beam for BriXSinO, an Energy Recovery Linac (ERL) currently under study at INFN LASA. We will evaluate the goals and current status of HB2TF and outline the peculiarities and implementation plan of BriXSinO within the LASA Laboratory
