“From the Lab to your Sewage Plant - Accelerators for Environmental Applications” will highlight the efforts at Jefferson Lab to develop compact, conduction-cooled accelerators based on SRF technology to tackle environmental challenges like the mitigation of "forever chemicals" in our wastewater. This monthly lecture series is designed to share knowledge and information on topics of interest related to history, world events, and science with a focus on anything that has ties to the Hampton Roads area. The lecture series is free and open to the public with first-come, first-served seating. After the presentation, there will be a Q&A session.
